Job Description

Proven experience in procurement of fresh items such as vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, non food and food items.

Wholesale distribution and retail experience is highly desirable.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of fresh meat and fish products internationally.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of changes in supply and demand.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of fresh meat and fish to meet customer demand while minimizing wastage.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and specifications for fresh meat and fish products.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold brand reputation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve business targets.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers and products to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems for procurement and inventory management.
  • Language : Malayalam , English, Hindi & Arabic
